Hee! Nope, it's this (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/7562528.stm). Early indications are that I won't be as ridiculously obsessed with this as I was with Sims and Sims 2... but it's certainly gonna keep me going for a fwe days!
My people are called the Arthuropods and they look like winged aardvarks. We are allies with five villages on our peninsula and our digeridoo orchestra is feared and respected!
I played Sims 2 to like 20 generations, but I was always saddened by the way the basic goal was to acquire more stuff. Whereas the goal of Spore is to take over the universe! Much better!
Let's put it this way: It's two hours and eighteen minutes until I can leave this place and go play Spore again. I don't know how I'm going to make it.
I hear you on the tiny. I wish I'd stopped at the creature phase and made my guys a little taller and more upright so that I had a way to dress them. They're so adorable, though.
So far I'm really enjoying the maraca-and-airhorn dance-offs.
Did you find your Sim people all started looking kinda similar? I used to cull the ugly ones, so that might've had something to do with it... Am quite enjoying taking exception to a tribe for something ridiculous and wiping them out. But am also discovering my inner humanitarian - they bring you presents when you let them live!!
Ahem.
I've sunk my whole day into it, and there are things I really ought to be doing. I'm only checking in online when the game crashes (make sure you save!!) and it's 2230 here and I have no plans to get to bed any time soon... if only I could sleep in tmrw, I'd have CONQUERED THE UNIVERSE before bed.
