Which episode was the first time that John called Rodney 'Rodney'? I'm writing a fic with parts set right after The Defiant One. Would it still be 'McKay'?

My impression was that John started calling him 'Rodney' pretty early on. I just checked this lovely resource, and there's a 'Rodney' right there in The Defiant One. ^_^
