I can totally get Rodney's fear and anger and pain, not only for the situation Sheppard got himself into, but for the accumulated horrors of the day...
And to see the strides the team made together over time was a perfect way of bring both views into sharp relief.
Also I loved especially to see Rodney's confidence later, compared to his terror the first time. Different from his usual arrogance. (Not that the arrogance isn't justified, LOL.)
